Technically not a go-go bar but the closest thing one gets on Sukhumvit 7/1. The name comes from the girls dancing on the mirrored tables without underwear.

    A fellow told me there was an 18-year old hottie at the Magic Table that I had to see so last night I decided to go and see what the fuss was about. Hmmm - pretty sure she wasn’t around as all the girls looked way beyond 18 and none of them were even vaguely attractive. The bar reminded me of some old-fashioned dank strip joint that you might find in a small town USA with dark corners to explore - fun maybe if you know and like one of the girls but excruciatingly boring otherwise. The set up is awful - a friend and I sat on one side of the bar initially but none of the 3 girls dancing ever looked our way - so we switched to the other side only to find out that a bright light shines directly into your face and you really can’t see a thing. The girls seemingly wear no panties - woo-hoo - perhaps 20 trips ago that may have excited me - but not now. Naked breasts have much more personality anyways. It didn’t help that the place seemed badly organized with the stage empty for extended periods of time and that this was one of the muggiest nights of the year with air conditioning so tepid that I had my doubts it was even on. Any sexual feelings that I may have had earlier were dead and buried. Even a trip afterwards to Rain Bow 4 couldn’t revive them.

    THis place has gone to the dogs. Not only have the few cute, slim girls disappeared but the sound system is shot to pieces, the music selection dire, the service slow and unfriendly and the atmosphere dead.

    A shame. Six months ago it was a fun place.

    One or two cuties can be found amongst the overweight, ugly and old. Drink prices are reasonable - 95 baht for a local beer vs 120+ on cowboy. Ladies happy to wave their private in your face too close for comfort - was that somtam she was eating?

    If you do get a cutie, do *not* use the short time rooms. They are not cleaned between customers and the attached massage staff are strict and obnoxious about the 1 hour limit, not even letting you pay for extra time. Better to take a cab to PB hotel or other short time hotel and maybe get more value for money from your girl who is not pressured into going back to dance straight after your session.

    This bar is definitely fun and offers some “hands on” action that is difficult to find elsewhere without paying through the nose for ladydrinks.

    I’ve seen punters kissing (and not just their mouths), feeling up the girls, getting felt up and pretty much doing everything bar actual fucking/BJs. And all for the price of a single ladydrink or, in a couple of sad cases, nothing for the girl at all! Personally, I think if you’re going to feel up a girl but not BF her, the least you can do is buy her a drink or two!

    The girls are a 50:50 split between chunkies and spinners. The BF is 600 baht and there are comfortable ST rooms upstairs for 300 baht.

    It never seems to be busy and it makes a fun change from the usual gogos.

    The bar is not amazing but it can be quite fun. It reminds of a small Pretty lady. Not a lot of stunners but they were fun. They have no underwear on and they were flashing the bald taco all over the place. One cutie asked for a drink. I said why? She said she was thirsty. I said not good enough. She countered that she would show me her pussy. Okay. I bought her a drink and she practically cleaned my forehead with her muff. Fun stuff. It is a shame they can’t get more girls and a couple of cuties. Then the place would really go. Not a bad option for seeing some skin on 7/1.

    The bar is ok for a bit of fun once, but nothing more than that in my view. Went there once recently, the mirrors on the table tops serve their purpose, but if this kind of thing gets you going, then Baccara in Soi Cowboy is far better, with not only mirror top bar all the way around, but also a glass roof on the upstairs.

    Seems a bit dark and dingy, but some of the girls make up for this with their efforts on the table tops.

    The top of the table is a mirror, the girls are dancing in white shirts, short red-plaid schoolgirl skirts, and no underwear. It’s easy to see that each is fully shaved. There are a half-dozen girls dancing, and another eight or ten girls hanging around the bar.

    This is Magic Table on Soi 7/1 and it’s a lot of fun.

    It was my first time in the Club, and really, it was my first time on this soi at night. I was surprised at how busy the soi was generally (although it was the late November high season) and at the quality of the girls at Magic Table. No old girls… no ugly girls… they ranged from average to pretty.

    I like the spinners — small girls around 40 kilos — and there were plenty of spinners in the lineup. But I was there with a couple of friends who are long-term residents of Bangkok and discerning when it comes to girls, and each of them was flirting with dancers that seemed slightly chunky to me. This is what makes the world go round, and tells me that the lineup at this bar will be appealing to a wide range of punters.

    This was our third stop of the evening, and I was a bit beyond noticing niceties like drink prices, but I got the impression that the beer was reasonably priced.

    For a lively soi and a slightly different view of a go go bar, Magic Table on Soi 7/1 looks the goods.
