Dropped in last night just to check it out. The line up was pretty poor, but I am a Tilac guy. I did have a blast chatting up this gal. She is a big country girl, not pretty at all, and fairly thick, but man what a fun girl to party with. She laughed and played, had me in stitches. Only been working a month, were chatting up and then from under her wrist band she has folded up a “cheat sheet” for Farang small talk. I kid you not this girls have a script. It was so funny. No reviews here for a long time, so allow me to chime in:
Long Gun has never been a fave of mine.
It always struck me as too mercenary, with a low fun factor. And the feng shui of the place, if you will, left much to be desired–it was uncomfortable.
Since the remodel, it is a more comfortable place to sit, and had become one of my regular pop-my-head-in-and-see-who’s-working-tonight stops on teh Soi Cowboy trail.
I barfined a cutie from LG last night, one I’ve been chatting up for awhile but never took home. She was indeed beautiful, but the service, as I somewhat anticipated, was lacking in some regards.
She said at the bar she could only do ST (a red flag in most cases), which was understood. But it should be in every hooker’s handbook that you never, EVER tell a customer when you want him to come.
I was prepared to give her up to 1500 for the ST, since I thought she had potential to make it into my regular rotation.
Considering the rushed service and the lack of a BJ (something else that should be a listed requirement in every prostitute’s primer), I gave her 1100 (100 for taxi, which I considered a tip–factor in also that I barfined her only 30 minutes before closing time, something I rarely do when it’s so easy to just meet them after work).
She griped, ever so slightly, saying it’s 2000 baht for short time. I informed her politely that as a local I never pay that amount for a short ST (a more spirited ST from an uber hottie who goes bareback, perhaps could pinch me for 2K). She then promptly resumed her otherwise pleasant demeanour and split.
Another thing about Long Gun that had been a real positive was reasonably priced drinks. I think beers used to be 100 baht. If I’m not mistaken, the price ahs gone up slightly.
Last night I was charged 600 baht for the barfine, which was shocking, since a couple months ago I paid 500–the waitress claimed the fines had been hiked by 100 bht. So I wonder if feature dancers, who used to go for 750, are even more?
Once again, the upward creep of prices, combined with sliding standards of service, makes for a lower rating than could, or should be.
4 stars for the remodel, 4 stars for the handful of real cuties and stable of generally do-able girls, 2 stars for pricing and 2 stars for girl’s performance gets LG 2.5 stars in my book, factoring in certain intangibles.
