   Three girls doing a lesbian shower show and a bunch of wenches parading around in see-through dresses. I didn’t see anything much special but did spot the old bird who has been dancing in Long Gun and Rawhide for at least the last 15 years. She was a hound back then but she doesn’t look any older now - about 60!

   Got my fingers wet for the price of a coke so 4 stars for that.

   Again an historic favourite that for me remains amongst top 3 on the soi with Tilac and Shark.
   Mamasan and Owner always buy me drinks and I get on well with a few of the A team who I have known since my time working in Bangkok.
   Had great fun with a couple of them and just really like the place and the shows!
   Also noticed they seem to have a couple of really hot new girls one of which is an absolute stunner that they have very high hopes for!
   They even bunged me a couple of t-shirts to take home with me on my last night!
   Great place! Great Management! A team are hot and shows are best on the soi.

   Definitely my favorite go-go anywhere, but I’m not the biggest go-go guy in the first place. Went there a few times on my last trip. Agree with ssB that the music blows, I think they flew in the DJ from the dodgy strip club in Bridgeport, CT I sometimes visit. And he brought his AC/DC collection with him. However, the shows and girls were smoking. At different times there was sexy school teacher, western chaps and hats, suds and water in the corner, and so on. Super hot girls looking very sexy all the time, not the Cowboy Two Step at all. A few of the dancers do some damned impressive work on the poles as well. Limber, bless them.

   Wolfie has mentioned the top three dancer girls. I was talking to one of them for a bit and was just starting to negotiate a way out of the bar. Price was high but she was so flaming hot after another whiskey + soda or two she probably could have gotten me to sign over power of attorney to say nothing of a few thousand baht. Then, suddenly a regular walked in and she was off. The shortest one, super cute, reddish streaks in her hair.

   Service and staff were excellent, the second time I arrived they knew my drink and on the third the owner/manager bought me one. Would definitely be five stars if I had gotten with Miss Thailand, but it’s probably the first go-go I’ll hit next time I’m in BKK.

   Visit first time last week-end. I didn’t like it. This old style deco, supposed to be country… The bar give the impression he is going to fall down…

   I’ve drink a beer and waited 1/2 hour for seeing a show… Nothing come, only girls walking on the scene like in catwalk… Nothing really special…

   Deceiving… Maybe a bad moment…

   The music sucks but the shows are the best - 4-5 hot girls getting naked over like 3-4 songs. Real naked and real hot. Then there are plenty of sets with full stage of naked girls or semi naked. Of course there is always the c team that no one wants to see naked but the a and b team is great.

   This place is killing long gun is my guess.

   You can’t go to cowboy without popping in here.

   topless & bottomless, quite chubby girls… slightly hairy… arrive around 1030pm… no show, only table dancing… left the bar…

   i agree. this place is rock solid. the seats suck but other than that i think it’s good all around. good mix of girls, a few stunners and i thought the dancing in the shows was damn good. cool staff, didn’t push for lady drinks. sat with one of the show girls for a couple hours and had a good time, she didn’t ask me for a drink once. got her number when i left.

   it may be the same owner as long gun but the two are like night and day.

   Over the past two months I’ve been to Rawhide a half-dozen times, and every visit has been exceptional. My last visit was the same.

   Recently, Mandarin Club in Nana has improved by copying the successful format from Baccara. Rawhide seems to have taken ideas from AngelWitch and improved on them.

   Rawhide runs ‘shows’ almost all night long now. Sure, early in the evening you get the A-B-C teams, but from 9:00 on, it is almost non-stop shows, with every show ending up in a stage littered with steamy, sweating, naked girls.

   I haven’t been to AngelWitch in a long time, but the last time I went there they had a team of four showgirls with a series of choreographed routines who appeared regularly throughout the night. Rawhide has a team of three girls. Their choreographed routines are probably a bit simpler than the team I last saw at Angelwitch, but there are two reasons why the show is better.

   First, the three girls are stunningly beautiful. Perfection all around. All three have perfect bodies and beautiful faces. I find myself on every visit comparing details like the size of each girl’s nipple to figure out which of the three is the closest to a perfect 10. I’ve just about decided that they are all perfect 10’s.

   The second improvement over Angelwitch is that all of the showgirls in Rawhide end up completely naked by the halfway point of every show. No matter what they wear on stage – boots, pants, belts, hats — it all comes off during a high energy strip routine that is as distant from the Bangkok shuffle as Ferari is from a Volkswagon Beetle.

   I’ve pretty much decided that Rawhide is my favorite go go bar in December 2007, taking over from Mandarin Club, which had held the title since October.

   If you’ve never been to Rawhide, or if it’s been a long time between visits, I suggest you check it out. I think they’ve finally got the formula right. On my latest visit (Thursday night in high season) it was only ¾ full from 11 p.m. to midnight. That’s good for me, but I’d love to see the manager and owner rewarded for improving the bar so much over the past year.
