Getting There: Tell the taxi Soi Cowboy or Cowboy - they all know it. Or take the BTS and get off at Asoke. Walk under Asoke, using the underground train station, and head towards Sukhumvit 23 or look for the neon. Or use the MRT, the subway, and get off at Sukhumvit. Head towards Sukhumvit 23.

    I am pretty much a fixture in this place. I would tell you I am easy to spot. I am the fat, bald, white dude; but that would included all of us. I have never pulled a coyote there, but I know the BF is 1500, and they are picky.They will leave the venue early if you throw enough Baht. Good luck. I for one would not get a coyote at a bar I tend to frequent. Sends a bad vibe to the regular girls. This is a business and like all business if you take care of each other, you have a good working relationship.
    BTW: You know how we say that all of them have a price? Apparantly not if you are a Pakistani. I saw two Pak dudes last night resort to feeling up that poor lady who ambles around giving massages ( I think she has downs syndrome :( )The guys had bad timing. Rent was paid yesterday. ST go for 500-800 the day before rent is due. Being a Pak the day after rent is due, and the girls have an entire month to hit their numbers. Pak dudes couldn’t buy p*ssy in BKK yesterday.

    Thanks for the info. So are most of the weekend Coyotes univerisity students and just do the Coyote thing on weekends for the extra baht without any real desire to go S/T or LT?

    Oh they will definitely go for ST. I have no clue what the rate is. They have a really tall gal, who I think has only danced 2 songs a night. She usually gets BF upon arrival. If you sample the talent please give a report. Good luck.

    I was wondering myself about those weekend Coyote girls at Tilac. How much are they asking S/T & L/T? And are they making you buy drinks for them until the place closes before they’ll go back to your hotel? I’ll be there myself in a another couple of months and it seems like Tilac is getting a lot of positive overall feedback.

    My favorite bar in Cowboy.
    Not so much for barfining, but for happy hour.
    It’s my favorite sports bar, and my favorite place to eat street food and watch the evening tide come in on Cowboy. It’s embarrassing that so many of the girls recognize me by now.
    No pressure from the mamasans, no pressure for drinks, and many of the girls are genuinely having a good time.
    Many are mercenary bee-atches too (it is, after all a BKK gogo bar), but since there is such a high volume of girls, once you know who is who you can choose who you spend your time with to either buy a drink, brush up on your lao, make out with in the bar, or shag back at your apartment.
    Not the best looking girls on Cowboy, but for my money, the best bar (I know that sounds paradoxical, but so be it).
    Had a wild hair tonight and barfined a 23 y.o. girl from Kamphaeng Phet with a phenomenal spinner body. Her performance was solid, way above average. 1500 for ST had her grinning and wai-ing appreciatively, and she even threw in a short massage after she put on her makeup and headed out the door.
    If there were more hotties, less crowds on weekends and less Japanese, I’d give it 5 stars. My 2 cents of advice: don’t bother with the coyotes on Fridays and Saturdays, you could barfine 2 girls for the same money they will milk out of you in drinks.

    Was chilling out in front of Suzie Wong’s nursing a beer and watching some UFC. I was tired and decided to go on home.Of course I wound up inside Tilac’s (these things “happen” alot to me, it’s why I am divorced.) Great atmosphere, great ladies, the girls have fun with real smiles (it is a party in there) I bar-fined the perhaps the ugliest girl in the joint. Nice slim body, just that country Isaan look that most don’t like. When I bought her a lady drink she like to shit. mammasan made big deal and all of her friends were smiling for her. She told me later she does not get many lady-drinks because she has big ears (Lol)
    Keep in mind, I am in this for the game, but if I can make someone happy all the better.
    We booked to the ST hotel. Poor thing hadn’t been bar-fined in a while (she took a left, instead of a right, going to ST hotel. Felt like a perv, because I had to tell her which way to go.That and the guy at desk treats me like Norm from “Cheers”) I digress…
    Great time, very enthusiastic, excellent results. Tilacs is definatley in the rotation from now on.
    Not a complaint just an observation. Is it me or is that little dude dancing away in the Men’s room and odd character?

    I visited Tilac at about 8pm a few nights ago and the place was rammed with girls. I would have poked most of them but I was way too tired after work. I didn’t find the staff pushy and the girl I was chatting to waited to be offered a drink rather than hassling me for one - she was fun. However, one old dragon of a mamasan tried to massage me and point out that there were girls available; well really, I hadn’t noticed.

    The best thing was when the bill arrived: 170 baht for a beer and a girly drink was way cheaper than I expected.

    For my mind the best go-go in Bangkok right now!
    Great atmosphere, always busy, tons of girls, loads of cuties amongst them and a good happy hour till 9.
    Place is buzzing every night which is a complete turnaround from the place prior to the renovations.
    Had an awesome night with a lovely girl from here this trip and always find the girls and service staff friendly.
    Top notch!

    Dropped by once or twice last week and have to agree with Mart, quantity not quality seem to be the maxim at the moment.

    A gogo where I had never been before yesterday. Based on a few recommendations I recently got I gave it a try last night. I was not impressed at all. Loads of girls but low quality. The place is really nice and I found the service staff very pleasant but there was no decent party vibe and again, most of the dancers are average looking at best.

    Hit up Tilac quite a few times over the last few months and have to say it’s in my top five on Cowboy. The girls are always in a great mood, and find that right blend of friendly and flirty without saying the dreaded “you me we go, you pay bar.” Lots of great looking girls with a few buffalo mamas in the mix, for the Germans presumably (sorry couldn’t resist). I like to sit along the edge with a mirrored table to maximize my views, if you know what I mean. Reasonable prices, good music, and now that I think of it in all my time I don’t remember ever encountering the mamasan, which may have enhanced the experience. Try it, you won’t be disappointed. But be aware, if you’re looking to barfine go earlier than later or you’ll miss out.

    I have hit up Tilac on occasion Since 2002. Service is always good, the decor is nice, and the new bathroom is quite nice as well, a real novelty. But ambiance only plays a small role in what I’m looking for, and IMHO I really didn’t see a lot of stunners among what is a rather generous gathering of ladies. But to each their own, not my kind of bar.

    Visited Tilac last Sunday. Load of girls, but most of them neither pretty, slim or interesting. Bought a LD for one of the few interesting girls. 130 Baht for a tequila that was water, but although I am OK with it, the girl left after 2 minutes to “go dancing”. Well, that was enough for me and I left, not to mention to be seated next to a pole with a dancing lady with legs bigger than most of the girls at Shark’s.

    I hadn’t been to Tilac for a few years, so it was a really nice surprise when I called in there a couple of weeks ago. I like the layout and the music. Loads of girls with more than a few stunners. It’s a great bar to take a newbie to. I will definately call in again

    I really enjoy Tilac, it has a different vibe than most bars on Soi Cowboy. There’s plenty to choose from by way of girls, as there are 100 dancers most nights working in 4 different shifts. Tilac headhunted some of the better looking girls and better dancing girls from other clubs in Soi Cowboy. The mamasan (the curly haired one, not the stone faced, hard arse looking bitch one) was headhunted from ‘Our Place’ and is really funny, helpful and isn’t pushy. The service staff aren’t very attractive, but are fun. My only gripe with Tilac was that on the first night my bill was padded 200 baht, but a quiet word with the mamasan and everything was fixed up quickly, with the mamasan taking the service girl to the side for a quiet word and then explaining to me that ‘it was an accident, she had counted the bill wrong and that it wouldn’t happen again’, and it hasn’t.

    This place keeps getting better. Lots of fresh talent last night with 2-3 new girls that I would have barfined had I been in the barfining mood but I wasn’t.

    The music was kicking, the underwear was non existent and the service was good.

    Good to see a bar turnaround and fight the coalition of bars that seems to be ruining cowboy.

    Definitely a candidate for “most improved bar”. Plenty of sexy young girls, including a couple of stunners, wearing no knickers under short skirts with (clumpy!) white boots. The clumpy boot wearers are ones who can’t afford to buy their own! Drinks are not too expensive and the service staff friendly, if a little unattentive. There seem to be 3 dance shifts, so if you buy a LD you have company for quite a while.

    Tilas has recently renovated into a more dynamic and colorful GoGo. Before renovations it was a tired old GoGo with bored girls and now it’s a pretty lively environment. Strobes, neon, and colorfully creative dancer outfits along with some cuties make it a decent destination. If you’re into the Las Vegas feel or if you want to see a GoGo on Acid it’s worth the visit.

    Just visited recently and the bar was packed. Great to see it catching on. They also have a nice outside area to catch the sports and watch the Soi Cowboy traffic flow.

    Decent prices, good service, and a great view of the knickerless podium dancers when you sit underneath.

    The girls are a mixed bunch, but there are certainly some lookers to be found here - although you may have to visit earlier in the evening to catch the best lineup.

    The highlight for me was the eye-level window at the urinals in the gents, through which you can continue to watch the action in the bar while you pee.

    Stopped into Tilac last night. Drinks were 120, music was good, service was good and many of the girls were without underwear. The place is much better since the remodel. There are a lot girls but not too many hotties. I also noticed a bunch of girls from Shebas in Tilac as well. If they got a more hotties in Tilac it would for sure be rated higher.
