Went to Angelwitch 3 times during my last trip, and I would have to say its the best show in NEP. Low pressure for drinks and some nice looking girls. It was busy everytime I went in there. Maybe I am easy to please, but I enjoyed myself there everytime. I noticed more western couples here than any other bar I went into. So if that describes you, I think its a bar you can take a non-asian date to. I bar fined one little spinner out of there for ST, who ended up staying LT. She ended up being a good guide to several food and drink places along Sukhumvit. The area transforms itself several times throughout the day and night and must be seen to be believed. Ah, Angelwitch… the first nana plaza go-go bar I ever visited on my first ever trip to Thailand. Back then I was a dewy-eyed faun with a roll of baht burning a hole in my pocket and more jai dee than you could poke a stick at. In my naivety I thought this place was heaven.
Went back this year and it’s gone down hill a bit. The shows are the same, although still worth checking out if you feel like taking a break from being called hansum man and having your nuts grabbed by the girls (?) out the from of the other bars.
Drinks - pricey.
Birds - some cute ones, plenty of hundred year old heads though.
The staff are all good sports and I’ve never been hassled for drinks by any of the polo shirt clad minions. Some of the older dancing girls can be a bit persistent, but no more so than any of the other joints in Bangkok.
Compared to the Angelwitch in Pattaya this place pales a bit. I always drop in for a drink when I’m in the plaza though, even if it’s just for the sake of nostalgia. Worth checking out. View all reviews by Human Tsunami

i don’t know what it was in it’s heyday but it’s quite an average bar. the shows are very stagey and after you’ve seen it once, there’s no reason to watch them again. especially when more and more NEP bars are doing shows. View all reviews by roddy

Probably the best club at NEP for me. They were not very pushy with me and have some decent looking girls. Not nearly as many as Rainbow 4 but that place has no atmosphere and too much attitude from the girls. Shows are worth seeing here once but after that they just take away from being able to pick a girl, so go before or after if you’re looking to take a girl. Did take a nice one Nouch (#15) from here. She said she was only at the club for 4 days and came from Issan only a week ago. She was 21. Don’t know what they teach at school in Issan but she knew how to please and she didn’t rush things like some girls. I came to think that the quality at AW had fallen through the floor and the place could be ignored. However, I am huge believer in gogo bar cycle theory and so following the review below decided to give it a look last night. Unfortunately it does not seem that the cycle has turned.
Unlike other reviews, I did not find the girls or mamasans aggressive or overly professional. The place was actually fairly pleasant as a spot for a drink. Last night Dave did not seem to be there, so it was a bit less annoying than usual.
However, my top priority is always quality of girls and as before this is where AW falls on it’s face. At nine o’clock last night, there was not a single girl in there that I would bar fine, not one. The ratio of girls with kids to those without was extremely high. Lots of stretchmarks.
I would not go back to AW as their formula of dressing ratty girls up in semi-sexy lingerie does nothing for me. But I didn’t hate the place. Would have gone with a 2 1/2 but cant so gets a three. View all reviews by HH

Okay I have read all the other posts about Angelwitch and yes I do agree that after a couple of visits they do get a bit boring… but
However, out of all the bars I have been to to in BK AW is my fav, why you may ask.
1: If it is the first time for you or your mates in BK why not go to a place where you can watch a decent sexy show without the fear of some bitch saying you owe a couple of thousand baht.
2: If you go in there and ask to be left alone they will (Anyone who says otherwise is a tw*t I have been going there for 6 years and have had no problems)
3: Out of all the bars and shows you can see in Soi Cowbowy, Pat Pang and the rest of Nana Plaza the girls in AW are usually good looking, young and not thai boys. :! View all reviews by Sly Si
