One of the few fully nude in NEP. The place is too dark to see the girls very well. The shows are ok and sometimes have some lookers. For the most part only average looking girls. One real cute/nice hostess (Wan) who speaks pretty good English. Took an older gal Soi (#24) who said she was 30 yo with 2 kids. A real sweetheart and took real good care of me. There are two go go bars with carousels in NP but only one go go bar with two carousels. The other has an electric bucking bronco bull. The bar with two carousels is referred to by the girls as Hollywood sometimes but anywayway whatever. The two carousel bar is by far the best gogo in NP. A wide range of girls, shapes sizes colours skin tones etc etc………And some nights the girls definitely seem ’stimulated’ and horny and in part mood. The carousel on the left has the A team and the one on the right The B team. There are a couple of sisters there but i think they want 4000 Lt… I refused. In fact the girl i took was the first Go Go girl I had bothered with for years………Excellent value for money and I Bfed her two or three times………She was also discreet. I was in carousel twice in the last few weeks and had a very different reaction. But I suspect that it may be different strokes for different folks. In terms of heavily orchestrated shows, this may be among the best places, but i have to admit, I hate shows. When i hear “Show coming up at 10:00″, it’s usually my cue to leave. I recall in the past some of thew showgirls here were among the most stunning around and I still lust for one named Poppy who I knew about three years ago. However, the last few times the showgirls looked just OK and after years of watching some stupid tourist get pulled up on stage and blindfolded, I barely look that way any more at all.
Which bring us to the go go girls who are almost all uniformly old and ugly. In fact, I would say this place has the ugliest go go girls in Nana. And in my book, a go go bar with ugly girls can not be good.
The place is fairly comfortable for a hang out and I would try that beer if the bar didn’t depress me.
I will admit that it does appear to draw crowds at times and people generally seem to be enjoying themselves. But for someone looking to pull, I would rank all four Rainbows, Erotica, Mandarin, and probably even the badly aging G-spot ahead of it.

I went to Carousel a couple of time and i must say that it is probably the safest and most fun go go bar in NanaSince i dislike Patpong (i ve got in trouble a couple of times there..), Nana is my choice for night entertainment. After having visited most of the venues, even the LBS bars, i came to the conclusion that the best show and most pleasant bar is Carousel. They have by far the best real lesbian show now, with a lot of real pussy licking and so on..quite nice i think. The other good point is they have some new beer from Belgium, called Hollywood beer, and the white one is a real treat for the same price than the usual thai or heinecken beers!

Girls & Atmosphere: After not having stopped into Carousel for over a year, I must say that it seems to have lost its luster. The bar is quite subdued, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing considering that it’s a nice change from the frenetic pace of other gogos. I recognized several of the older dancers from the former, far inferior Hollywood Two; they haven’t aged well. The shows were average and not really that involving, though the girls did make an effort to make them erotic. I ended up buying a drink for one of the hostesses who I personally felt was the most attractive girl in the room by far. Either I arrived too late or too early (roughly 10 pm), or Carousel has simply gone downhill in the dancing department.
Staff & Prices: Again, the girl I was most attracted to was a hostess, and she was very friendly and willing to chat despite a lower level of English. The staff is hands-off unless you want to talk, and not pushy at all. Drinks are also reasonably priced, and they even print the cost of lady drinks on the menu rather than having the issue arise later.
Overall Impression: It may be a shadow of what it was before, but Carousel is at least worth a look if you’re looking for a more relaxed gogo. Even the seating feels like you’re sinking into a cushioned sofa, and it’s a nice place to have a few drinks before moving on to another bar for more action. View all reviews by John Smith
