I tend to agree with the review about ladydrinks at Mandarin….they are always Bacardi Breezers the 3 or 4 times I’ve been there too. It’t a little more than 20Bt more per drink too.
“Barfine Warrior” is missing the point; It has little to do with the extra money for BB drinks….It’s more about the principal. I have been in BKK 8 mos. and I’ve seen this tactic pulled often. My favorite place in Nana by far this little place is packed with spinners and the mamasan is fun a little pushy but manageable. We always manage to stumble in here half in the bag but are taken care of. The top floor can get a little wild to especially after 11pm once the alcohol has kicked in, those little bodies cant handle much. The only strike I have against Mandarin is this everytime we go there the girls always order Bacardi Breezers. Last week I went in with 5 friends we all found girls and all 5 ordered Bacardi Breezers and 2 of them didn’t even like them I assume the mamasan is making them order the highest price drink on the menu beware. Overall a great place I don’t really like Nana to much but Mandarin is fun and full of hotties. I would give it 5 stars but the Bacardi Breezer stunt is kinda stupid. I have barfined thrice from Mandarin and unbelievably never came close to having sex. The first two I will attribute to drunkiness and girls being intimidated by my looks and wit but the other night I barfined in peak form. Guarantee right? We had a good rapport but the mamasan and random drinks fugly claimed it was the girls first night and some slightly spastic tendencies led my cynical mind to believe them. My favourite gogo in Nana. Two very different teams of dancers, the generally taller girls who dance in bikinis and the generally younger short girls who dance topless in student style short black skirts and sneakers. Some absolute little honeys amongst the students and reasonable talent in the other team too. The girls are encouraged to drink the free alcohol available to them and get more “merry” as the night goes on.
