There are four Rainbow GoGo bars in Nana Entertainment Plaza. They each have similar themes but can still be different. The main theme is too put up tons of young and tiny looking gogo girls on stage. Rainbow 4 is the largest and most popular. The crowd is mostly Japanese much like the others Rainbows which tends to spoil the girls and send ST and LT rates a bit higher than other GoGo’s. Great for perv’ing not pull’ing is the general consensus on the Rainbow’s but it’s definitely tough resisting the pull sometimes.

    I’ve pulled dozens of girls out of Rainbow 4, the last one just a few days ago. 70% of the time we don’t discuss price in advance. I give them 2000BT for short time and everyone seems happy. When they do ask what i am going to give them, I say 2000 and they are fine with it. Over the last few months the place did seem to have deteriorated. But looked pretty good last week. I’m ready to call a bottom on nana and declare the cowboy nana gap closed.

    7000 baht LT plus the lady drinks and bar fine??? WOW! have they heard it’s a global recession? LOL…. Guess not…. She had better be hot and a virgin fresh off the farm for that! Otherwise you can get 2 ladies for the night for that price at Soi Cowboy…

    Visited there not long ago…Alot of hot girls… But all the hot ones were asking stupid prices 7000 LT i Just laughed…Hung around a little while longer and picked up A litte hottie by the name of A number 3 ( Has anyone had the pleasure)… Price was a little better… But i think i will go straight to rainbow 1 or shark bar in soi cowboy insted, where the prices are better and not jacked up because of all the japanese…

    I plan on visiting Rainbow4 the last week in August. Counting the days.. It’s been too long since I was thre last. I for one don’t mind if 2/3’s of the guys are Japanese. That’s just a sign for me to head to that bar as it’s going to have the kind of cuties I go for. Sure they pay more for the talent… but I look at it as a challenge.. Sort of like an online aucton.. everybody starts placing their bids as the night goes on… But of course the smart thing to do is bid on multiple ladies… chances are you will win one of your top picks if you’re that hot for her… Are you going to pass on the 19 year old hottie of your dreams over a 1000 baht more? You’re a Nana Plaza bar fine warrior, you’re there to conquer!! Of course the alternative is to scope out the girls, wait until closing and see about closing a deal for a much more discounted price as they exit Nana Plaza… I plan on doing that too.. it’s amazing how much the price drops then… LOL….

    If you are of Arab or Indian ethnicity, don’t bother.
    The sleazebag whose job it is to draw the curtain aside for customers will set his stick-figure frame in the door way to block your way and tell you, with a straight and unfriendly face: ‘members only club’.
    I am not Arab or Indian, but it happened to me once when I hadn’t shaved for a few days. I told the little cocksucker I had been to that bar dozens of times, but he wouldn’t budge.
    Another time they pulled that shit, and I told him I knew he was lying, showed him my drivers license from my home country, and told him in thai ‘I am not an Arab, I am from America’…and he sheepishly let me in.
    IMHO They don’t deserve your business, they know fuck all about customer service, and their lineup is not so good anymore that they ought to be able to get away with it. So even though I’ve had some very solid sessions with some girls here (NOT the goofy bitches with sky high Nipon hairdos), I vote with my feet.
    Fuck R4, I say.

    No nudity. Girls with poor attitude. Many girls look at you as if a bee has just stung them on their arse whislt they were in the middle of sucking lemon. A joyless place. If you are handsome enough to score here you can score for free at a night club I think.

    Paid R4 a visit last night (my first time) with a chinese (female) friend in tow. As expected the, place was quite full, probably 2/3rds japanese with the girls catering to their aesthetic sensibilities. I am sure the girls avoided me due to the existing company (we are not together and were not looking for further company, as some of the below posts), but the service staff were very friendly and accommodating.

    I would not go so far as to say that there are “tons of stunners,” but of the (admittedly few, comapratively speaking) gogo’s I have visited, the lineup was certainly the most attractive.

    Singha was priced at 135 baht / bottle.

    Always absolutely packed full of girls and busy with customers. I find the girls to range widely from horrible to stunning; most of them are somewhere in between. I have been in here a couple of times with a “gik” of mine and we have chosen 3 different girls on 3 different occasions and each one was really up for it and was happy with 1500 baht for a couple of hours with the two of us.

    The one thing I don’t like is that there are an unusual number of girls here with really freaky hairstyles that make them look gruesome, but I guess the same could be said of a lot of us too.

    Oh, and quite a few of the girls here walk around with faces that look like they just tasted a turd, but there are plenty of smiling ones too so you can tell the others to piss off.

    Hoofed it into this place a couple of times recently and compared to other gogos this place really does appear to get girls brought in by the truckload. Another plus is that I have found the staff to be straight up. But on the flip side be ready to fork out the extra cash with all the attitude.

    Overall, definitely worth the visit at least once, even just to see all those pathetic Jap dudes creaming themselves.

    This place rocks! There is no doubt about it. The girls are absolutely stunning, albeit on the slightly expensive side. I was there over Songkran (Thai new year)so the bar fine was 1000 baht rather than the usual 600, but it’s still worth every penny, cent…

    On Monday I met a rich banker from the Staes who bar fined 25 girls! We all ended up at his condo and well….it was unreal.

    Check out number 7 - Mai and also Son, maybe 106 both great girls.

    Prior to my trip to Bangkok, I spent a little time going through reviews from several sites. Most suggested Rainbow 4 to be the best of the go-go bars in NEP.

    While I didn’t visit every go-go bar while there, I will say that the girls of Rainbow 4 where very good looking and the quantity was impressive.

    However, as has been mentioned, price, environment and attitude render this bar more of a ‘look-but don’t buy’ place.

    If around NEP do not pass up this bar…you might indeed get lucky!

    Perhaps the BEST a-go-go place in NEP. After being yanked in by a stunner, I was amazed to see about 25 underwear-clad beauties gyrating and shaking. Beers are cold but expensive- but then again, you’re not there to drink. Kind of hard to choose a girl- so many options. What did make it easy is when the service lady explained that the girls would go LT for 4000baht… boom, zip, bang- I was out of there!

    Although the girls are GREAT looking, there’s way too much risk of pulling a starfish. Besides- at 4000baht for LT, I can easily have a 3 way with a couple of FL girls under the Nana Hotel sign for the same price.

    I’m back!

    went Rainbow 4 on 26/2/09 with a thai fren. the funny story y we ended up in nana:

    this fren of mine is a young thai guy, quite shy & well-mannered type. he only knows soi cowboy & have been there a few times. he told me his other foreigner frens always wanted to see ladyboy, but he couldn’t find in soi cowboy.

    i couldn;t help LOL at him. i told him if he wanna see ladyboy, go to nana! so nana we went. but he said he wanted to go to soi cowboy later, so i said we will stay for a while, then get back to baccara.

    when we arrived at nana, i showed him casanova. then we went into rainbow 4.

    Man, he was IMPRESSED & didnt wanna leave!! at 1st he didnt want to get any girls, but when he decided to pick 1, she was taken already…

    i just accompanied him, i didnt get any myself, but i enjoyed the eye candy. really sweet place & i left feeling good.

    Lately R4 has been total shit. Went there last night around midnight and was suprisingly good i thought. I was fairly drunk so this review might be a waste of time, but there were quite a few on stage who would be more than worthy of a dick in the arse (their arse, not mine)

    Couple of ropey munters on stage mind, but all in all, a lot better then its latest offerings

    but many (potential) customers (majority japanese) as well.

    Been there several times throughout the month of September, and it definitely couldn’t match the quality I saw last year. Girls were pretty average overall, although probably better than many of the other bars in NEP. Rainbow 1 and 2 are better IMHO, but even these bars seem worse than last year! I think if you’re pretty new to the scene you’ll be impressed, but if you’re used to Bangkok you’ll be disappointed. And be sure to really examine whoever you select in decent lighting, up close! Many seem okay from a distance but in the bedroom, when the makeup and the fake lashes comes off, your “stunner” can turn out to be a distinctly ordinary and typical Issan girl. It’s actually quite incredible how much mileage Thai girls can get out of an even very ordinary level of looks with the careful use of makeup, hairstyling, and behavior. Squeezing every last bit out of your appearance is really a high art here!

    Hit Rainbow4 up the two nights in the last three days. I was there around 2200 - 0100 both times. Immediately upon entering I was taken aback by the abundance of beauty’s on stage. I was however disappointed in the rather poor selection of beer they have, Tiger, Heinkeken, Chiang? or Singh, can’t remember. Either way there were only four or 5 beers and IMHO they were all shit, as was the 130 or 135 I paid for the swill. But the eye candy helped take my mind off the rot gut I was consuming.

    I wasn’t hassled at all, all of the girls seemed very friendly and eager to get my attention, making eye contact, waiving, smiling etc. After a couple of beers I took a stunner out, negotiated down from 2000 baht for ST to 1500, plus a 600 BF, and 300 for the ST hotel. Decent IMHO, I spend that much in a couple of hours of drinking in the states and have nothing but a hangover to show for it.

    Upon entering the ST hotel something peculiar happened, there was an older woman sitting in the hotel and she said something in Thai and I made out one word clearly, “Japanese” as the old woman addressed my “date”. I then inquired as to what she had said and the girl told me the woman asked “what, no Japanese tonight” I guess my girl is a big hit with the Japanese, or maybe more and more Japanese are hitting up the ST hotel and that is a common question?

    Anyways, service was provided and I wouldn’t hesitate going back to Rainbow 4, I will give it less then 4 stars due to the fact that the beer selection is shit.

    Was in there the other night and was a little apprehensive after reading YP’s review, but I found it to be rammed with stunners, but unfortunately more Japanese than in Tokyo. The drinks weren’t the cheapest but I wasn’t hassled - the only time I was hassled was by probably the only ugly girl (that I could see) who demanded a drink and when I refused, demanded I pay her barfine and when I flatout refused that, she demanded a tip. Needless to say she got nothing. Barfine and ST/LT rates here are more expensive than in other bars, due to the presence of our overly deep pocketed Japanese friends and the pushing of the mamasan. The way the mamasan/boss controls the girls is to give them big loans and then make them pay them back The girl I eventually barfined told me that I would HAVE to pay 4000 baht, because the Mamasan had seen I’d barfined her and would be expecting 4000 baht and if I didn’t give 4000 baht there would be trouble (the girl owed the mamasan 60000 baht). She made up for it by telling me that I could meet her after work any time for free, which was nice.

    The other nice thing was young Hiro, who decided to tell every girl that would listen to go for me as I would obviously have a much bigger penis than he and his Japanese brethren. The girl he had already barfined wasn’t too impressed…

    maybe YPs a little harsh, but I can appreciate where he is coming from. I was actually there the same night (Friday 16/5, kind of spooky!!), and there is certainly a huge amount of girls, but unfortunately the same number of yippun (japanese) dudes to match. Be prepared to pay top dollar for drinks / LDs and the bar fines are 600 baht. I gather a large number of the girls are from a prefecture in Japan called “Burrirum”.

    Went here on Friday with 2 friends of mine.

    Rainbow 4 is known as the cream when it comes to size and quality. We hit here at 830maybe so its not as if the witching hour had come and we were left with the dreggs, but there was seriously nothing there that really caught my eye. Pretty mediocre.

    I questioned my friend why has this place gone down the pan and his answer was simple “poor quality control”. Fuck me he wasnt wrong

    Had 1 beer and ducked out.

    Dont get me wrong the stage wasnt littered with mooses by any strecth. but nowhere near the standard i have come to expect. Maybe ill go on another night and get blown away but 16/5/2008 was a dark day in the Rainbow4 history books.

    I love this place
    More stunners then you can shake a warty dick at.
    Hit here maybe a week or so back and made eye contact with a 175cm stunner with some next level titties and she started her ‘wink and giggle’ routine. I caved in and bought her a drink with the intention of getting a ST for 1k as i was light on cash that night.
    Fuck me wityh a feather she agreed to it ST which actually turned into LT which was pretty cool.

    From what i remember good music, but barely a few were bothering to dance. Beers are 140baht i think which are not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. Id rather pay top baht for a bar looking at the best girls then glugging 60baht beers in a seedy gogo starring at girls that id sooner bang my mother.

    Mamasan and service staff werent pushy, but i never really seem to have problems in any of the rainbow bars.

    Id say was 75% japs 25% ferangs in there and im sure rainbow must pay the highest wages to attract the cream of the girls in sheer volumes

    Trust me guys, this place is great. All the girls are SWTs (Sweet Young Things) and very pretty with perfect bodies. it’s bigger than other bars & definitely more girls.

    you will not regret it, but the downside is: most of them r too bored to dance, but it’s fun to see silky smooth skins with so little clothing. some are shy. however, it’s difficult to find the one u like on stage after they change shift. dunno where they hide. i couldn’t locate my favourite, then i left.

    ST quoted to my uncle was 2000 bath!!!

    ok, i finally barfined 1 tonite… not the 1 i saw yesterday… but still a very sweet 23-year old.. but she had a c-section b4… a major let down 4me… thus, her nipples r not “fresh”…. couldn’t tell coz nana agogo dun go topless (unlike soi cowboy). from her english standard, she must have been woking for very long…

    during sex, in the middle of it, her cellphone suddenly rang… shit… bloody hell… i should hv penalized her… anyway i paid her tips. she’s happy.

    Barfine 2000baht with 300baht tips… total 2300, price of a sideline in massage parlour! & she borrowed my hotel phone to call a fren, said no money in cellphone credit (shitty lie) but i consented anyway… 1 minute 1 said.

    i hv been too kind. an idiot she must have thought…

    the waitress here quite rude when they speak, it seemed that u cant walk around holding ur unpaid bill in the mug. if u wanna leave ur table to walk around, u need to pay 1st. fair enuff, i think..

    The Rainbow bars rule Nana Plaza and remain a unique offering amongst all GoGo’s in Bangkok and Pattaya especially Rainbow 4. It’s the largest of the Rainbow bars in Nana and therefore has the most women. It’s unique in that they put up the most hot girls on stage. There are dozens of them and some real lookers. They are also a bit smaller and more “Japanese looking” than other GoGo’s which suits the taste of the many Japanese customers that frequent the place.

    I always take newbies to R4 and they are always overwhelmed. It has even broken down a few newbies that claimed they would never “pay for it”.

    Getting hot girls to work in a GoGo is not an easy task. R4 consistently has hot girls. The wives tale is that they run regular buses from Isaan and Chang Mai and even have a Rainbow GoGo training camp somewhere up north. Even though that appears to be true it’s probably just a tall tale.

    The service and mamasans can be pushy here but just ignore them and take in the sites.

    It’s big. It’s got two large stages. There aren’t two dozen girls working on a Tuesday night… more like two hundred. And they look great. Very little body fat to be found. Lots of straight white teeth, clear skin and shiny hair. These girls look great! The stunners are so numerous in this go go, it’s amazing that there are any beautiful girls left to work in any other bars in Bangkok.

    I’ve barfined four R4 girls over the past year and a half. I had one dud, who I returned immediately, but I accidentally barfined two sisters (on different nights) and went back repeatedly for both of them. I haven’t suffered from a bad attitude, and I’ve gotten away with paying ‘normal’ rates here (1,500 short time) on every visit.

    The eye-candy is probably unmatched anywhere else in Bangkok, and I love going into Rainbow 4 often. Yes, it’s full of Japanese, but who cares? I love this bar.
