It does seem to me that over the past year, Rainbow 4 became a victim of it’s own success. The bar was constantly full of punters and the quality of girls fell far below previous levels. However, I am ready to say that the cycle has turned and the bar is now back on my top five/ten list.
The girl line up at Rainbow 4 is still nowhere near where it was several years ago, but the crowds are way down as well. The bar is spacious, the music muted and the arrogance is gone. RB4 is now a great place to sit and have a drink and take in the range of talent on two dance floors. I was in there last night and while nothing immediately jumped out at me, there were three little hotties that I had latched on to before my drink was done. The place is pleaseant and i could have spent quite a while there.
I wound up taking a girl who I thought (and still think) was absolutely stunning. She was small and Japanese style, but the mamasan, who I have known for years, insisted she liked farang. In any case, she happily agreed to leave with me with no discussion of price at all. Once back at my place it started pouring rain. After a good little session she suggested long time, since she was lazy to go home, but then held up four fingers and asking if I “knew”.
I told her she was free to do what she wanted. I could easily call her a taxi or she could stay, but there was no way I would pay her 4k, which is more than I have ever paid a bar girl. She said she would stay with no further discussion. In the morning she happily gave me another go and left with 3k and a smile on her face.
Given how hot this girl was, the whole thing seemed pretty reasonable and not indicative of an attitude issue at all. She won’t win any performance prizes, but did try. The ability to pull top tier talent with no effort, have them do their honest best, and not be too money focused earns the bar five stars, in my mind. I do suspect that Baccarra and Shark now have hotter girls at the very top extreme, but it seems easier, more fun and cheaper to pull similar talent from Rainbow 4.
I should note that I was eying another hottie on stage and exchanging smiles. That one looked visibly disappointed when I was joined by the girl I did go with. Finally, I also exchanged some flirty looks with a third cutie as i was waiting for my girl to change her clothes. These three, plus one that I have gone with before, where about all that got me excited. But that’s enough for me. View all reviews by HH

I give this place 3 stars for the selection of hot girls and no more since I think the service is sub par - didn’t take a girl from here for ages though, but when I did I just barfined her and didn’t discuss price with her, which in my opinion should not exceed 2k, 1,5k being more fair - ended up not shagging her anyways, but the agreed price was 2k… She had her period, so when I didn’t want to shag anyhow, she didn’t ask for money, so apart from bar fine and a few beers in another place, I didn’t loose any money . . . @David Lee, I am a Farang myself but I have to agree that many Farangs have a strange taste regarding Thai girls, imho. I have a similar taste like most Asians, I like fair skinned, tall and voluptuous girls.Many farangs choose imho ugly girls. To be fair I guess not the guys chooses the girls, but the girls chooses the guys. Asian guys are much tougher and ugly girls have no chance to get barfined by them. While Farangs with the knight in shining armour syndrome can not be rude to a girl or are just too shy to choose and as result they stick with the ugly girls.
@Nice Guy I second what Ubernature told already. I myself was thinking about barfining one girl for longer. I did not because I first test her for two nights and soon I found out that it would be a mistake.
1. I would be bored quite soon just to stick with one girl and miss the fun of hunting.
2. Even if one is in love with a hooker, it’s a big mistake to show it. As soon as the Thai Hooker feels superior you are only another ATM. So, be wise go only ST. Rainbow 4 is a horrible rip-off place. Yes they have a lot of pretty girls, but they don’t care about their customers. I bar-fined a girl for a whole month and when she bailed, the bar refused to refund my money. I lost $300 because I trusted them. Never again.
